Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28, 1967 at Atlanta. Roberts is fourth in the Roberts generation to reside in Atlanta, beginning with her farmer great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was a young man when he became interested in theater. When he was a student in Emory University in 1952 he performed in shows on campus and elsewhere in Atlanta. In 1953, he joined the Air Force, and was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi acted in a production that he performed in with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple was married in the year 1957. Walter went to Tulane University at New Orleans, Louisiana in 1957 after the couple had left the US Air Force. Walter worked with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family relocated into Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou began producing a television show for children in Georgia, Decatur called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They financed the production their own. They also created an organization that lasted for six years called the Actors and Writers Workshop later in the year. They had two more children, Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa), and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also also known by the same name Julie).
