Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy, aka Anne Frances Murphy was born on 19th December in 1986. She hails from Canada and is employed in the Hollywood film industry. She worked on a variety of projects. Her most notable role is in Alexis Rose, a CBC TV sitcom, Schitt's creek. The show began in 2015 and ended 2020. In her performance, she got praise from critics and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born in Ottawa, Ontario in Canada. Both her parents were teachers. They enrolled her at Elmwood School in Ottawa where they staged productions. After that, she attended Concordia University, where her degree was theatre performance. From there, she attended courses in the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory where she was instructed in acting. After that, she relocated from Toronto to Los Angeles at the age of 22 where she pursued acting as a profession. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 by appearing on the tv crime thriller film Lethal Obsession. Her acting career continued and played small, extra characters in several movies. A few of her films have been very well received such as Story of Jen from 2008 Lick (2010) as well as A Windigo Tale. She also appeared on Canadian television series like Good God aired on 2012 Rookie Blue aired that same year. It seems she has the capacity to be involved in many roles. Annie was a struggle first to establish herself as an actor. She also worked hard to demonstrate her skills and earn recognition.
