Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding is a British musician and singer. The singer was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December, 1986 in Hereford. Ellie Goulding's enthralling electronic style swiftly brought her to the top charts once she drew the attention of the public in the year 2010. The singer-songwriter was able to do this with the singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the forefront of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of contemporary mainstream music as well as independent artistic pop. Her soprano voice as well as her knack for writing emotionally honest songs are what make her stand out. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a big record deal.
